WI v NZ highlights today – Third twenty/20 from Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui (New Zealand) Wednesday 3rd January 2018. Must win match for West Indies, because they had not won any match so far from this tour. SHA Rance from New Zealand took three wickets so far in one match and he is the most wicket taker of the series so far, TG Southee also took three wickets but his economy is not better than SHA Rance. C Munro scored 119 runs in two innings with highest 66, GD Phillips scored 65.

Toss: ?

New Zealand team/playing XI
1 Martin Guptill, 2 Colin Munro, 3 Kane Williamson (capt), 4 Glenn Phillips (wk), 5 Tom Bruce, 6 Anaru Kitchen, 7 Mitchell Santner, 8 Tim Southee, 9 Seth Rance, 10 Trent Boult, 11 Ish Sodhi.

West Indies team/playing XI
1 Chris Gayle, 2 Chadwick Walton (wk), 3 Andre Fletcher, 4 Shai Hope, 5 Shimron Hetmyer, 6 Carlos Brathwaite (capt), 7 Rovman Powell, 8 Ashley Nurse, 9 Sheldon Cottrell, 10 Kesrick Williams/Jerome Taylor, 11 Samuel Badree.

All three completed T20Is at this venue have been won by the team batting first. But the possibility of rain and early swing could tempt the captain into bowling first, as Carlos Brathwaite did on Monday. West Indies, on the other hand, might consider bringing back Taylor for Kesrick Williams, who has leaked 76 runs in five overs. After being rested for the first two T20s, Boult is set to return to the team, possibly in place of Doug Bracewell.
